“Realise that this very body, with its aches and its pleasures, is exactly what we need to be fully human, fully awake, fully alive.”

Years ago if someone had told me I would find my life turned around by learning to sit still, I wouldn't have given them the time of day!

Busy, busy, running around combining a successful career with raising a family, I though meditation was for people with nothing better to do and that the way to get through difficulty was to push through it to the answers ..... which were always out there, somewhere.

Then ill-health stopped me in my tracks and after conventional treatment failed it was mindfulness training which restored my health. By learning to slow down and pay attention to my mind and my body something magical happened. My symptoms disappeared , I began to feel happier, more contented and whilst stress hasn't magically vanished from my life, I deal with it differently.

Mindfulness develops emotional and physical resilience and I am passionate about making it more accessible. I am qualified to teach mindfulness to secondary school students too and love to see young people access the benefits of mindfulness training, life offers us all challenges whatever our age and learning how to relate differently to them is of huge benefit whether you are 14, 40 or in your seventies.
